My Crawford ancestor is Lemuel Crawford born about 1812-15 in South Carolina, died March 6, 1836 at the Battle of the Alamo in Texas. LEMUEL,mind you, not John, James, or Alexander. Do you think I can find out anything about him? I haven't yet! I have been told that he might have had brothers named Evans and Merriman, but I haven't found them either. Sigh..... M. Aaland
