Hi, I am a Linda Crawford also,just not the one who has written to the list recently. I have worked on my husband's Crawford line for 15 years and can't get past his 3rd great grandfather James Crawford born on 13 Oct 1752 in Chester Co PA according to his Rev War Pension application when he was 95 years of age living in Carter Co KY. At the time of the Rev he states that is father was living in Chester Co,but doesn't give his name. I haven't had luck chasing him down. I need to go back over everything again. There are 2 of us who have extensive research on him and we have both come to this roadblock,so if anyone has anything we would love to share. We have good records on him after he left PA. He married 1st at age 40 toe Cordelia Richards,then to Jane Llewellyn. Had 15 children by the 2 wives. I would love to get across the ocean somewhere,but there is nothing to tie us over there. The articles on the Crawfords in Scotland,Ireland and England is very interesting and I save it in hopes someday we will be able to make a connection. Thanks Linda Crawford in MO
