Why is it that when you read your own message after it is sent to the list you immediately see the mistake that you didn't see when you read it three times before you sent sent it? :) A correction to next to last paragraph of my previous message on the same Subject: In looking over the known daughters of David Crawford it appears that all were married, none to a Holt. My question thus centers around the possibility of David Crawford having an unidentified daughter who married John Holt, or could one of the known daughters married John Holt? [Not David Holt] If this David Crawford is not the David who deeds property to his grandson, who might the other David Crawfords be. The common time and place seem to me to point to the wife of John Holt being a daughter of David Crawford (son of John b. 1625). I'll appreciate ideas, evidence, or research suggestions.
