There are Johns in this Crawford family, Iam researching, however Ive swum the pond and Im stuck in the mud bank on the Scottish side. Alexander Crawford and wife Mary Hill (m. 1828) havent shown up to pull me out of the Clyde. So its down to elimination time or trying to locate sibling lines for there children, of which one was William Crawford born about 1835, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland, a few wee miles from Glasgow.
