Several people have listed places where they found CRAWFORD files. Does the listowner have a webpage or other place where we can send gedcom files that will make one large database of just Crawford related families? I am willing to contribute a gedcom of my limited Crawford information to a cumulative effort, but know nothing about the suggested places where one can contribute. Is it possible for someone to make a webpage with a genealogy program on it to which we can simply upload gedcom files? I'm assuming this would require permission from the distributor of the program. Also, has anyone contacted the owners of these websites that have been suggested to see if they want us to send information? I would suggest that everybody who hasn't done so already, enter your Crawford information into the Crawford Webbase. We can refine it from there. Granted, the Webbase isn't a real relational database, but a good place to start. I like Maxine's idea that such a true database, we could key on multiple keywords and match birthplace, D.O.B., parents names, etc, etc -Marc McCune
