Couldn't find the most common of names, etc. BUT, I had failed to check out the pull-down menu to chose which field I wanted to search on. I was keying in SAMUEL while the type of search was alphabetical. As soon as I selected "FULL NAME SEARCH" it worked perfectly. I can't think of a single search option that you would ever need to add - they're all there! I am sending this because I may not be the only person who overlooked this very important field on the search screen. I would like to know if it is possible to delete or move a person I accidentally linked to an erroneous parent. The only other question I have is regarding estimated dates. I wish we could put in dates such as "abt. 1822" or "bef. 1860". I would not want people to use some of the "approximate" dates I have entered without knowing they are "approximates". Thanks for your foresight and all your hard work. I hope all the Crawford researchers will support this database and not spend the extraordinary amount of time it would take to start yet another one. Lastly, I am willing to enter some data into the data base. Please email me what you need entered next.
