Well---I found something---- on this web site: http://genealogylibrary.com on people search I found that John Crawford of Kilburney, Scotland and was a discendant from Quintin Craufurd of the West Sea of Scotland---ref. the "Crawford Family of VA" from the Time dispatch, Genological column. It states that David was John's only son b. 1625 and they came to St. Peter's parish of New Kent, then St. Paul's parish , then to Hanover Co, BA when that was formed. Son David had dau. Elizabeth b. 1650 and m. ----stopped there-- this site is a subscribtion site of FTM The info came from a catagory of "History and Genealogies" p. 598-- I'm not subscribed---yet Does anybody know of Quintin Craufurd? saramck@apex.net
