Well ...HI ALL.. This is my first post here ... but I've been looking through the offerings for a bit .. My Peggy Crawford b.1802 in Sc d.April 12 1874 Old Shiloh Methodist, Choctaw Co., MS m. Frederick Bagwell Her Father I believe was James Crawford m. Elizabeth... A few miles from the cemetery of Peggy that we recovered and restoed .. is Blackwood Cemetery.. or Crawford Cemetery... it is inside the Tombigee National forest there .. it is the resting place of Peter Crawford b. Sept 17, 1885 died age 68 years 10 months and 29 days.. and his wife Elizabeth Crawford born Dec 12 1794.. died Oct 13 1853 where do any of these fit together if at all .. Large tomb box movd to Winson Co , MS. from Jefferson County, AL. Also ..next to Peter and Elizabeth is Jane J .. wife of Rev. W.H.Crawford.. born in Jefferson Co Al.. July 8 1824.. Died June 9 1881...and Davis Terry Crawford (s/o Peter) and his wife Mary Barron Crawford (d/o Joseph and Hannah McClanahan ) and their to children who all died in 1852 These graves are in a lovely secluded section of the national forest ... on land that Peter had... some 1450 acres .. 4 of which was reserved for a cemetery...
