I am researching the App and Mary F. Crawford and Morias Jordan and Sarah Jane Crawford Hansbrough lines. I was told that Mary was a Crawford before marrying "App". "App" is a nickname. Mary died ca. 1886 and her three younger children were raised by their grandmother, possibly a Molly Crawford. Sarah had an Uncle Jim and Aunt Nettie Crawford also. Sarah Crawford was born March 24, 1867 in Rockingham Co., VA and died Feb. 4, 1918. App and Mary had other children a William; Robert; John; Fluroy; Florence; and Mary Frances. I am looking for any information on the above lines. I would like to know what "App's" real name is and any information about him too. The Crawford's I believe were in Greene and Rockingham counties.
