I just had a possible breakthrough on my CRAWFORD research. I was looking for M(oses) "Alsberry/Alsbury" CRAWFORD b. 1845 TN/MO....father: James. He went by E.B. or E.L. His tombstone has E.B. His death certificate has M. Alsberry Crawford. I could never figure out where the E.B. or E.L. came from until I found "Elsberry" Crawford....b. 1854 TN moved to MO about 1856....father: James. I would like to correspond with any one who might connect to this line in order to be able to verify that M. A. is definately Elsberry. (I'm not concerned about the 1845/1854 dates......I think it was a reversal of numbers....his tombstone even has 1875). James R.
