Does anyone have any information about the origins of a Thomas Crawford who married Mary Evans on 11 December 1753, Prince Frederick Winyaw, South Carolina? I have been told by one correspondent that this Thomas Crawford was born in Hanover County, Virginia in 1737. However, that report seems to be in error, at least as regards the year of birth. Thomas Crawford's marriage to Mary Evans was his second marriage. He had 4 children from an earlier marriage to Lucretia, surname unknown. His first child was born in about 1742.
