There was a Maud Crawford who disappeared from her home in Camden, Ouachita County, Arkansas on the night of March 2, 1957. Her husbands's name was Clyde Crawford. She was grandfathered in as an Attorney before a degree was required., She married Clyde in 1925. Clyde's father was W. G Crawford and was a blaksmith who died in a fire at his home. He died trying to save his wife. There was a nationwide hunt for Maude but to no avail. Her body was never found. Prior to her disappearance she was involved in a dispute over an estate. They ran stories in July and August of 1986 in the Arkansas Democrat a Little Rock Arkansas paper, to recapture the events of what happened. . I know one was run on Augus 3 of 1986. I do not have birthdates of either Clyde or Maud .
