Thomas Sissel Crawford, 96, husband of Edith GOSSER Crawford for 71 years, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Winchester Center for Health & Rehabilitation. A native of Lee County, he was the son of the late Samuel P. and Rettie HILL CRAWFORD. He was a retired sheetmetal worker at Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot and a member of the Central Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter,and five sons; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Bruce Ray Smith and Rev. Dennis Wainright. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Crawford, Mark Crawford, Doug Dowdy, George Elliott, Joe Tur, John Thomas Tur, Aoseph Arthur Crawford, Van Crawford and Scott Crawford; honorary, James Lawwill, Paul Williams, Jesse Kash, Shelley Rapier, William King, Frank Isaacs and John Galloway. Crawford James Cleveland Crawford, 66, Lexington, died Monday at his home. A native of Clark County, he was a son of Edith Hatton Crawford and the late Lonnie Crawford. He was retired from the United States Air Force where he served in Korea and Vietnam. Additional survivors include his wife;three sons; two daughters; five grandchildren, two great greatgrandchildren; a sister and a brother. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Aaron M. Smith Funeral Home by Rev. John Withers.
