He married RACHEL WOOD(s) in the year 1841 in Hardin County, OH.. 9-10 children were born of these parents in OH & Allen County,IN, The CRAWFORD family migrated to Indiana around 1855.. They are found on the 1860 & 1870 Census in Allen County IN, Aboite township A daughter CLARA (mispelled in some census) M Crawford was b 1861 in Allen County, IN.. She is my Grandmother. In 1879 she married Benjamin Franklin Harris in Allen County.She died young in 1907. In 1880 they are found living in the household of a brother GEORGE CRAWFORD listed as head-of-household (unmarried) He was b 1852 in Hardin County, OH. A married brother HENRY CRAWFORD was living next door Their is no record of James & Rachel Crawford after 1870. Did they go west, perhaps first to Iowa then to OK & CA? Would like to find documentation of HARRIS-CRAWFORD marriage in Allen County, IN in 1879 & a marriage record of Henry Harris & Lucinda Crawford about 1885 in Allen County, IN?
