This is my line also through George Washington Crawford's daughter Anna who married William Kimsey. William and Anne died in Turtletown, Polk County, TN. I have seen George and Sarah's graves in the Mount Zion Methodist Cemetery in Haywood County NC. Bronze plate in ground reads: Crawford George W. 1740-1820 Sara Kirby 1776-1860 our children Josiah, William, George W II, John, James, Enos, Anna Sara, Polly, Margaret, Nancy Our great, great grandsons erected this marker in 1987 WWII Vet Emerson G. Can anyone help me with Elizabeth Crawford b. 12-6-1770 and D 12-10 1840 ( In North and SC) She married William Ellerbe ( ca 1765-1830 I know that Thomas Ellerbee Mother was Obedience Gilespie ( Galespy) ( b 1743) She was the daughter of James and Mary Gilespie.
