Hi Ida We spoke a number of years ago. Your cousin and I are a genetic distance of 2 on 37 markers. Unfortunately my family appears to come from Ireland to N. America in the mid-1800s and I haven't been able to trace them to the southern U.S. I have found a 67 marker exact match with a Crawford in New Jersey and we are exploring our information to find the connection. It should be within the last couple of hundred years. We think that we have a common gr. gr. gr. grandfather in Ireland. If more people would join the Crawford Y-DNA project, we might break down some of the brick walls that are in our way. It would help everyone.
