Hobbs (NM) News-Sun Big Spring, TX---EUGENE CRAWFORD Memorial services for former Hobbs resident Eugene Crawford of Big Spring, TX will be held at 2PM Saturday Jan 8, at Berea Baptist Church. Arrangements --Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home. Mr. Crawford 77, died Tues. Jan 4, 2000, at a Big Spring hospital. He was born 7/19/1922 at Rolla, KS. & married Pauline Ream 6/15/1947 in Kansas. She preceded him in death 7/5/1997. Mr. Crawford grew up in KS & moved to Big Spring from Hobbs several months ago. Mr. Crawford had served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a Methodist & member of American Legion & VFW of Hobbs. Survivors include a son, Todd Crawford of Big Spring; two sisters Helen Hamilton of Hugoton, KS and Ruby Arnold of Sssublette, KS. 2 grandchildren, 1 ggreat , neices & nephews.
