    1. Re: [CRAWFORD] SURNAME: CRAWFORD-SINGLETON
    2. Hi Anita, I am just dropping a line ...just for records sake, u know how hard it is finding clues! My gr gr grandmother was Elizabeth CRAWFORD, seems I have somewhere who her parents name was, but I'm under the impression that she and her husband, John Redwood SINGLETON were both fr/England. You'd think that the middle name 'Redwood' would strike a memory to someone, but as many times as I've sent out messages, I never get a response. Who in the world would name thier son 'Redwood' ????? But my information to you is that they lived in Hannibal, MO and at least 2 sons were born there before moving on to E TX, then to Jack CO, TX. I don't know how far into this migration the John & Elizabeth went, but that is the trail of the known sons, Lemuel and Harry. Also, making mention that there is an Elizabeth SINGLETON buried in 1849 in a Palmyra Cemetery just on the west side of the Mississippi River there at Hannibal. Thank you, & let me know if u know of any of these names in your tree!
