    3. My great-grandfather, T. O. Crawford was born in Illinois, but found in Smith County, Texas in the 1880 census. I believe his son, Thomas, b. Apr. 1880, was my grandfather, Thomas O'Neal Crawford (I found him in the Van Zandt County, Texas 1910 census listed as Thomas (without the middle name) and it states his father was born in Illinois. My dad, listed as son Carl, in the 1910 census, was given the middle name of O'Neal and it has been handed down for another two generations. I love the name "O'Neal" and would like to know the origin, but doubt I'll ever figure it out. A family tree can wither if no one tends it's roots.......... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donna Stark" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 05, 2007 5:13 PM Subject: Re: [CRAWFORD] Mathias CRAWFORD MD to PA abt 1800 > What state?
