My g grandfather is William H. Crawford, b. 1845 in VA and d. 1913 in Pleasant City, Guernsey, Oh. He married Mary E. Lovett 10 Jan 1866 and had two daughters, Sarah, b. 1868 and Mattie, b. 1870. He then married Hannah E. Davis, 20 May 1876 and their first child Leora N. was b. in Chester, Meigs, Oh abt 1877. Emmet W. was b. abt . 1878 same place and Thomas E. b. abt 1879, Jennie L., b. abt. 1886, William, b. abt. 1889, and Edgar G., (my grandfather) b. 20 Jan 1893. There are many William H. Crawfords and I believe his Father was James Crawford, married to Sarah Lester, because several census show Sarah with the children and her parents, Stephen and Nancy Lester. Any information about his parents names, their ancestors and the true place of William H.'s birth in 1845 would be appreciated. I have visited Pleasant City, Guernsey, OH and seen his tombstone with Hannah E. Also, looking for her parents. Know her dad was from Wales and believe name is Thomas R. OR B Davis.
