    3. Could you please send to me? It sounds like these may be related to my Crawfords (or the same ones). Thanks! Also, take a look at Sylvia's birth date. I have been following this e-mail traffic in the off chance that Charles was connected to the Amherst Co. VA Crawfords. 16 Aug 2007 11:59 am Subject: Re: [CRAWFORD] (no subject) Marian: The parents and wife of Charles are my brick wall. I do know he fought throughout the Revolutionary War. I have found a Charles Crawford that served as a private in the 7th, 9th and 13th Virginia regiments. A Bounty Land Warrant 12000-100-20 was issued to a Charles. He was a native of Virginia, and moved later in life to Warren County, KY where he died. His children were James, John, and Abel all three of whom served in the War of 1812. Other sons were William, Isaiah and Josiah Wilson Crawford. Josiah was born in 1801or 1802 in Warren county, KY. He died 10/3/1863 in Fulton County, Ill. Josiah Wilson Crawford was married to Lydia Sears. They the following children: Henry P. B. 8/22/1822 D. 2/15/1879 (Interesting history) John B. Josiah W Joseph A B 1847 Elizabeth B 1831 Harriet B 1841 Sylvia B 1822 His wife, Lydia Sears B 1810 or 1812 I have additional information on Henry P. and his decedents, if anyone is interested. I also have some information on a Charles that may or may not be the one we're looking for. If interested I'll email it directly to you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marian Harrison" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2007 12:29 AM Subject: Re: [CRAWFORD] (no subject) > Where in Virginia was this Charles Crawford from? 3. Michelle: I'm not sure if this web site is the best place to send a large batch of genealogy info, so if anyone has a better idea, I'll follow it in the future. As I mentioned in an earlier email, My GGGrandfather Josiah Wilson Crawford and his wife Lydia Sears, had seven children. Henry P., John B. Josiah W., Joseph A., Elizabeth, Harriet, and Sylvia. My direct lineage is from my GGrandfather, Henry P., who, with his wife Ruth Lane had eight children. Henry was born in Bond County, IL 8/22/1822, Died 2/15/1879 in Mason County, IL. He was a doctor and served in the Civil War. Ruth's father was a colonel in the War of 1812 and served under General Jackson. Ruth was born in Tenn., 1827 and died 2/1/1875. The children of Henry P. and Ruth were: Josiah Washington, B, 1/5/1850 in Canton, IL. D3/22/1916, Thayer County, Neb. Cicero A. , B. 12/31/1853 D. (?) Philander T. B. 6/3/1856 D. 3/1/1908 Milissa D. Rosetta B. 1869 D. 4/19/1871 On December 24, 1876, Henry married Catharine Atwater in Mason County, IL Josiah Washington, my grand father, and his wife Mary Killius, had five children. Mary was born Mason County, IL 3/18/1854 and died 2/29/1929 in Belvedere, Nebraska. They were married 9/30/1873 in Kilborn, IL. Their children were: Fredrick Washington, B. 6/15/1876 D. 5/27/1935 Bertha D. (Kelly) Cora D. Additional information is available upon request. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michelle Johnson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2007 1:37 PM Subject: Re: [CRAWFORD] (no subject) > Could you please send to me?
