Hello, I have very little information on the Crawfords I am looking for, but hope they sound familiar to someone. George Crawford married Sarah Rice. They were both born in Ireland. They had at least two children in Canada, Robert born June 1852 (according to his marriage record he was born in 'lower Canada') and Frank born November 1858. Robert and Frank both end up in Kent County, Michigan for the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census. Robert married Patience Dearborn October 13, 1875 in East Whitley, Ontario. They had five children: Charles b. 1877 Canada, Florence b. about 1879 Michigan, James b. South Dakota (appears to be listed in 1900 census twice, once with Robert born b. Jan. (June) 1886 and once with Patience b. Dec. 1885??!), Frank b. 1884 South Dakota, and John. Robert and Patience divorced and I believe he remarried someone named Etta Vreeland. Frank married Amanda ? and according to the 1910 census had 8 children, 3 of whom were still living. Names of children in the census are: Leslie L. b. 1886, Eva B. b. 1888, Nobel Russell J. b. 1891, (three children were born before these three and two after that apparently all of whom died young). Eva B. married a Bennson (?) and had two children Illa and Arthur. Any bells? Laura
