For those of you who are interested, in the Will of the first David, he names "Martins children". Some researchers have interpeted this to mean there was a "Martin" Crawford. In fact, this means the children of his daughter Elizabeth who married James Martin, Sr. in Amherst Co., Va., David seems to refer to his son-in-law as Martin. This information is documentated.
