OBIT: Arizona Daily Star 09/16/2007 Tucson, AZ. Jacqueline Russell Crawford - born July 9, 1922, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2007. She was the widow of major Frank Steele Crawford, U.S.M.C. Retired. She is survived by daughter, Candace Dale Crawford; son, Russell Scott Crawford and his wife, Sheri Lynn Crawford; grandchildren, Melissa Janelle and Tammara Lynn Crawford, Timothy Andrew and David Adam Barrett; step grandchildren, Andrew Neal, Christian Sean and Allaina Evonne Ragone. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Dale Trombley and Roberta Russell. She served in the U.S.M.C. during WW II, and was a stewardess for Western Airlines from 1948 - 1952. Loving to fly made her marriage to a pilot in the US Marine Corp a perfect match. She was an attendance clerk for Orange Unified School Dirtrict untill she retired. Travel, cooking and her family and friends were her life's pleasures. Her final resting place will be next to her beloved husband at El Toro memorial Park in Lake Forest, CA.
