    3. I will add my 2 cents. I clicked on this message the other day and immediately, realized my mistake. As soon as you can, click on your control panel, choose recovery and once there, choose system restore. It will only put your computer the way it was 2-3 days earlier (your choice), without losing anything like email or documents. If you installed any programs in those couple of days, they will have to be reinstalled. Easy fix. Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: juliasgenes via <crawford@rootsweb.com> Reply-To: juliasgenes <juliasgenes@yahoo.com>, <crawford@rootsweb.com> To: Nancy Crawford <crawford.nancyj@gmail.com>, <crawford@rootsweb.com> Sent: 5/17/2016 11:48:11 PM Subject: Re: [CRAWFORD] Fw: new message - ZOMBIE LINK The person from whose computer the messages came from has a zombie bug. (It was sent out to a batch of addresses as you can see from the original message.) Their computer sends out messages to the people in their address list without the owner's knowledge, like a zombie. If the recipient is fooled enough to click the link, they will become infected, too, and begin passing messages. A few months ago, when this type of "click the new message" scam started coming around, labeled as a faux Yahoo post, a bunch of my friends fell for it, including my husband. I had him go to BleepingComputer to find out how to get rid of the thing. There are other sites that will help you, too. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ I don't want to pat myself on the back, but since I was cyber-stalked a few years back, I have become very skeptical of messages. More skepticism will help people keep their machines cleaner. I changed the link address when I replied, so you'll have to go back to the original message if you really feel like you want to click it. However, you've been warned! .^_^. =========================================================================================== On Tue, 5/17/16, Nancy Crawford <crawford.nancyj@gmail.com> wrote: What is a zombie link?
