Hi, June - I have a John Crawford b. 1790 in Virginia. I wonder if he and your Thomas are related? Research from someone else suggests that my John's father is John, Sr., from Ireland. This same person's research that my John, Jr., had a brother Thomas, but her research says he was born in 1799. I have not had the time to verify this myself, but thought I would pass it on to you in case there's a connection.
