CRAWFORD, Robert Clyde "Bob" 4/7/1939 - 4/7/2016 77, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on April 7, 2016 surrounded by his family. Bob was born to the late Marie and Clyde Crawford in Long Beach, CA, where he grew up and met his wife, Joan (Hartleib) Crawford, and wed in 1963. Settling in Tucson shortly thereafter, Bob took a position at the UofA as an Optical Engineer where he spent nearly 50 years. Bob had many passions in life such as restoring his 1966 Ford T-Bird, listening to jazz music, and cheering on UofA sports. But mostly, he loved his family dearly and received great joy out of making people laugh. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joan Crawford; daughter, Jennifer; son, David (wife Neeta); grandchildren, Dylan and Nathan; nephews, Steve Edmondson(wife Janet), Jeff Edmondson(wife Debbie). A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made in memory of Bob to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
