Thank you for the replies to my post about the brothers from Scotland via Ireland and on to Conn..One of the brothers had his wife and sons with him and they shipwrecked. She died and he came on with his sons, according to the book. I finally ordered the book and will do some more reading.trying to read it online was difficult. The Crawford's seem to be as prolific as the Rosebrooks..so it looks like I have a lot of research to do.perhaps the book will have more info about exactly where they came from. Wendy
