N. CHARLESTON, SC - Elizabeth Hutson Taylor, 98, of North Charleston, widow of Verner Edwin Taylor and her first husband, Frank K. Riddle, Sr., died Friday, June 24, 2011 at Life Care Center of Charleston. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11 o'clock at Midland Park United Methodist Church, 2301 Midland Park Road, North Charleston. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. A visitation will be held the day of service at 10 o'clock until hour of service at the church. Mrs. Taylor was born October 5, 1912, in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Samuel W. Hutson and Estell Eugenia {Crawford} Hutson. She graduated from North Charleston High School and attended Rice Business College. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, and Daughters of the Nile. She was a retired purchasing agent for Walker, Evans & Cogswell Company and a member of Midland Park United Methodist Church. A, Charleston, SC 29403 or Midland Park United Methodist church, 2301 Midland Park Road, North Charleston, SC 29406. Survivors include two sons; Frank K. Riddle, Jr. of Summerville and Robert E. Riddle, Sr. of Summerville, one daughter; Sandra R. Owens of Hemingway, SC, eight grandchildren; Catherine E. Owens, James D. Owens, Jr. and Randy A. Owens all of Hemingway, SC, Robert E. Riddle, Jr. of Marysville, TN, Brian E. Riddle of Ladson, SC, Rhett A. Riddle of Florida, Rhonda Roach of Florida and Kathy Flowers of Florida, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and one sister; Harriet J. Kicklighter of Ocean Grove, FL. She was predeceased by two sisters; Margaret H. Knight and Pauline H. Gowder and one brother; Samuel Hutson.
