Hi Ida and Lisa,   I am researching Crawfords who may be from Canada, specifically Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.  Does anyone know of a publication or book that might provide this info.  Olso specifically looking for a Frank, John, Helen (or Ellen), and a Jessie (Jesse sex unknown) from the same family group. My Crawford ancestors came to Canada from "northern" Ireland in about 1820. You can find out a lot about us at the website http://crawford_family.tripod.com/ There are some of our relatives in Alaska and the western USA, but we have lost track of them. I don't think their information is on Crawfords in Quebec. Hi Guys and Gals s I am a Crawford from Canada. My ggrandfather was Rev. James Crawford who immigrated from Ireland sometime prior to 1851, he is believed to be the brother of Samuel Crawford of Wiarton Ontario area who immigrated to Canada from County Donegal Ireland in 1846. James homesteaded in the Parry Sound Ontario area about 1870 and died there in 1883.
