Elise Mae Jones Crawford, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 1st, 2012, in her home after a long illness. Mrs. Crawford was born in Pamplico, SC on August 12th, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Walter James Jones and the late Marie Barrineau Jones. Mrs. Crawford was a widow her first husband, Ocie Miles, Jr., and of her second husband, Manley M. "John" Crawford. She was a dedicated homemaker and a life-long member of Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family of Mrs. Crawford will have calling hours from six until eight o'clock p.m., Friday, November 2nd, 2012, in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Crawford will be held at two o'clock p.m., Saturday, November 3rd, 2o12, in the Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial and committal services will be held following the funeral in the Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.
