My oldest known Crawford is Thomas, b. 1784, Va. m. Jenny James b. 1780 in SC, both dying in Fulton, Itawamba County, Mississippi. Can anyone tell me what part of Virginia he might have been born in or any other information about him. I am elderly (70) and pretty much homebound, but have the computer and am trying hard to locate any information about him and/or his wife, Jenny. I am looking for a Bill Crawford or some of his family in Schulter or Okmulgee or in the Okmulgee County area of Oklahoma. He no doubt has passed on as he was about the same age as my mother who was born in 1911. In some old notes left by my mother, Loretta Crawford Jay, she states that her cousin ,Bill Crawford, had the Crawford Family Bible. Our grandparents were James Cox Craword and Malissa Caldwell from Missouri. Both died in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Other family names are Dykes , Storey, Burns all in Okmulgee County.
