William Crawford b ca 1831 GA md Julia Ann Campbell (mother believed to be Ann or Anna--maiden name unknown) b. ca 1836 GA. They married in Calhoun Co. AL Dec 29, 1854 Their children were: John W. Crawford b ca Dec 1858 (Per 1900 census) Calhoun Co. AL md Jennie ? b May 1864 AL. Their children were: Andrew, Wesley, Monte, Callie, May (there maybe more as this is the 1900 census only). Children all born in AL between 1881 and 1900. Estimated marriage date for John and Jennie is 1878 AL (maybe Calhoun Co.) Frances "Fanny" T. Lula Crawford b ca 1859 Calhoun Co. AL md Marcus L. Strickland Nov 16, 1876 in Talladega Co. AL Elbert Crawford b ca 1861 Calhoun Co. AL James Crawford b ca 1864 Calhoun Co. AL (nickname JIM) William and Julia are on the 1860 Calhoun Co. AL census. In 1870 Julia is head of household with her four children--she is still in Calhoun Co. AL. After that I have not been able to locate her in 1880 (no children under 10 in her household). I presume from William's age and his estimated date of death (1860-1870) that perhaps he was a casualty of the Civil War but I have found no records to prove this.
