She was born July 13, 1920, in Clarendon, the daughter of Louis Cranston and Ruth Johnston Barnes. A lifelong Warren County resident, she was a member of Clarendon United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Littlefield of Tiona; two sons: Dennis Shaver of Sheffield and Stephen A. Shaver of Warren; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mary Ball and Joyce Rhoades, both of Avon Park, Fla. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack C. Winger, pastor of Clarendon United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
