Hi Marci, I have been researching our branch of the Cranston family since my Dad died in 1987, and left me with a card board box full of his research. He wasn't a computer person, so everything was done through letters. Most of the people he had corresponded with were already dead by the time I got involved. I have been able to reconnect with a lot of these families through message boards on the Cranston family site by Ancestry.com. I was able to meet some of the relatives in Ireland and England two summers ago, when my husband and I went for a visit. I do not recognize the family names you mentioned, so I don't know if we can find a link between our families. My branch came to America from Bailieborough, Ireland in County Caven.
