The only marriage record I can find in Ohio lists Matilda Frampton and Joseph R Coppock. Is this another one of those spelling mistakes? The son is John W Coppock and his sister Mary. Mary's line has the Frampton name listed in their lineage. I want to assume that this is wrong and that Crampton is correct. Does any one know who Matilda's children were? There were a lot of Frampton's and Crampton's in Ohio in the mid 1800s. Thanks Kate Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Regarding Matilda Crampton married to Joseph R. Coppock, versus, Matilda Frampton married to Joseph R.Coppock, take te bible information. Census records are not always correct and neither are marriage records.Everyone was not educated back in those days and spelled the names as they heard the names. BTW, I am Crampton blood related and am interestd in Crampton data. I do not have your couple in my data base but wonder if you would have any older Crampton data. I relate thru my gggreat grandparents Mary "Molly" Crampton & James Kilbourn. Wanda
