Wanda, I have a James Craig born about the 1832. I seem to have a number of date estimates for this James. I show him as son of Jane Ferguson and James Craig, listed as their 18 year old son, occupation millwright, in the 1850 Toby Twp, Clarion Co, PA census. In 1860, James is again listed in Toby Twp, but living with his older brother William F. Craig. James age is listed at 25, occupation attorney at law. I also have records from another Craig genealogist listing James as being born Nov. 4, 1831, died Jan 31, 1900. I have no information on James's spouse, but quite a bit about his parents and siblings. If this sounds like a match, let me know if you are interested in more info. Nancy
I'd sure be interested to know if this James had a brother EDGAR A., born abt 1837, and if so ANY info on other siblings and parents would get you a gold star.
