Hi all- My mother always referred to her side of the family, Logan as black Irish. They all had dark and I mean dark black hair with black eye\-brows and fair complexion. In reading I got the impression that when the Spanish Armada was shipwrecked some of the Spanish made there way to Ireland and intermarried with the Irish. Not a historical fact but I do remember reading that somewhere. Jo Johnston
