Gary & Paula, The John Craig bc 1847, s/o Wm. Barie Craig & Mary Robertson, was listed with his parents in 1860 in Franklin Co., Ky., age 13. By 1870 he had was gone from this household and he would have been abt 23 yrs of age. I found a marriage certificate in Franklin Co., Ky. between John R. Craig & Mary L. Mitchell, dated Dec. 30, 1869. They md. at the house of Louis Mitchell, wit. Petter Shuster/ Jhoston? (hard to make out). Could not find this couple in 1870. Do not know for sure if this is the son of Wm. Barie Craig. I did however find in Franklin Co., Ky. in 1880 a William Craigg age 9 (bc1871) living in the household of Will F. Mitchell age 57 b. Ky. and his wife Sarah M. Mitchell age 45 b. Ky. Their children Elen age 12, Jennie age 8. William Craigg is stated as the nephew of Will F. Mitchell. (could possibly be the son of John R. Craig and Mary L.
