Your John W. date of birth is 1847 ... mine is 1857 but that could be from typo or miscalculation along the line ....The thing that really rang a bell was when I noticed the name Malinda ... The names Moore and John David also rang a bell .... John W. is the one member of the James Harvey's bunch that we have no further info on .... Our John W.'s grandmother's name was Malinda ... on his mothers side. We have a solid connection to the Moore Family in Mercer County, KY and this family was always calling folks David Henry or David Edward or John David and the like .... This branch of our family went to Indiana ... then Illinois and Missouri and some on the Kansas and points west ... some staying along the way ...
