    3. Does anyone have a Malinda Craig b 2/1/1869 d 10/22/1894? I know she is from the Craig/Mackey line but Im not sure how. Family remebers reference to a Grandma Nancy Mackey. What generation of Grandmother were not sure. They think she owned a plantation in Mound City Missouri. We also know that Malinda Craig's (1869) father was a John Craig. But there are many John Craigs out there. Family legend is that he married two sisters (possibly an Elizabeth and Malinda). John had a daughter with one sister in 1869 Malinda Craig. With the other sister he had three children: Nancy Elvira Craig, Will Craig and Newt Craig. Here are the facts that I have confirmed: Malinda Craig b 2/1/1869 m Ira Cook 7/4/1886. Ira and Malinda Craig Cook had John David Cook b 1887 in (?Brown County) Kansas, Samuel Mortica Cook b 1889 in (?Brown County) Kansas and William Cook b 1892 in (?Brown County) Kansas. Malinda Craig Cook d 10/22/1894 in Richardson County Nebraska and was burried in Brown County Kansas. Her tombstone read Sister Malinda Cook. Ira was later found on the 1900 Brown County Kansas Census with his sons. Not found again. I know that the Craigs were from Missouri. Holt and Pike Countys are referred to alot. Since Malinda Cooks tombstone read Sister Malinda Cook I am under the impression that her Craig family burried her rather than her husband. Does anyone know of any Craigs that lived in the Brown County area? Can anyone help me with this line? Thankyou Paula
