Part of our Craig line moved from Kentucky to Indiana to Illinois and on to Washington in the early to mid 1800s. The firmest link we have is Daniel Tilford Craig who was a sheriff for a time in Roseburg County. The following appeared in the latest Craig-Links. It definitely shows some of Daniel Tilford Craig's records. It also shows a Frederick Craig that we think was related to Daniel .... cousin???? Married 3 Sept. 1882 Haron, Shelby Co., IA, Mary Burcham, b. 8 Oct. 1864 Mondamin, Harrison Co., IA, d. 17 Sept. 1960 Blyn, Clallam Co., WA. Fredrick was the son of Robert Craig b. KY and Mary Gunsolley Craig. Fredrick started the first Western Union telegraph office in Clallam Co., WA. The office was in his home on Chicken Coop Rd. in Blyn. He fell from a pole in 1926 and was killed. His wife was the midwife for the Blyn area. "His daughter Ruth still lives on the old homestead in Blyn (no date)." Their Children: 1.
