Hi Ann, I am not sure if there is a connection, no one seems to know anything before 1783, other than he married Mary, daughter of Christopher Blake and died about 1800. I am new to family history research and got my information from a reliable researcher in New Brunswick. (not sure if I am supposed to mention the name)I could send you the info. that I have if you like. Tina
Tina, Have you looked at the IGI record? It shows James Craig born about 1768 at Reeds Point, St. John, N.b. and death in 1817. I would need to have more information to link him to me. If you had a possible place of birth...or if you can find a ship record or something it would help. If he was born in Canada then he's not linked to me since my James was born in Scotland. Let me know, Ann ----- Original Message ----- From: <TSheltown@aol.com> To: <CRAIG-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 04, 2000 6:54 PM Subject: Re: [CRAIG-L] CRAIG'S FROM NEW BRUNSWICK > Hi Ann, > I am not sure if there is a connection, no one seems to know anything > before 1783, other than he married Mary, daughter of Christopher Blake and > died about 1800.
