His father was William Jackson CRAIG and Clarissa Ann FERGASON/FERGUSON. Edgar had nine siblings: William Henry, Emmett Monroe, Eda Ozelle, George Chapman, Nola Dale, David Erwin, Vinnett (Bennett) Houston, William Franklin, and Rufus Compia all born Lawrence Co, AL. Edgard Lee CRAIG and wife Emma Susan SMITH were married December 18, 1895 in Lawrence Co, AL, migrated to Texas about 1903. You mention a John CRAIG. Are you referring to John CRAIG and Martha WHITE? He was born May 24, 1764 in York Co, PA, died March 24, 1852 in Limestone Co, AL. He and Martha WHITE were married 1784 in lost state of Franklin, which now is Greene Co, TN . She died 1832 in Limestone Co, AL. I don't have a Samuel CRAIG at this point. Nor do I know of any of my Nichols' going to MS but it could turn up eventually.
