To be of value for identifying those CRAIG families descending through mutual CRAIG ancestry, test participants necessarily must be males who descend in unbroken line bearing the surname CRAIG, CRAG, CRAIGE, or some other variant of same. Anyone not having this surname at birth would necessarily have to identify a male cousin, uncle, or some other male blood relative bearing the surname CRAIG in order to potentially benefit from the information gained through Y Chromosome DNA tests. As my mother was born a CRAIG, I would necessarily have to make contact with an uncle or cousin and persuade them to participate in these DNA tests. Will gladly pay for the cost of doing this for my own CRAIG family, as I hope that each of us interested in doing this might be able and willing to do for each of their respective CRAIG families.
