Hi On 11th August 1923, James Craig, then aged 42 (born 1878 in Greenock), set sail from Liverpool for Halifax , Canada on the Cunard ship Caronia. In all records Ive found of him his occupation is given as shipwright, but under the rank, profession or calling of passengers column in the ships record, his is given as harvester. We believe that James Craig ended up in Detroit, Michigan. There is a Social Securty Death Index entry for July 1963 which we believe is him - there is a family story that he ended up in Detroit & the birth date is the same. If anyone has any information about this chap, please get in touch! Many thanks Liz Jones
