I'm sending this along with the .jpg images to your email address. It appears that Mary Elizabeth's mother died sometime between 1870 and 1880. On the 1880 census William Craig was still living at the same location, remarried with more children. I believe Mary Elizabeth Craig's mother's name was Catharine Mitchell. There is a marriage record (located in the Marriage Bonds of Franklin County, Virginia 1786-1858) "Craig, Wm. and Catherine Mitchell, Nov 27, 1841. Sur. Wm. S. Mitchell. 132." Viewing the handwritten census records will give you a lot more information than what is outlined below.
