The online UVA Library has a marvelous search engine and I have used it to research land patents, military service records, maps, vitals, etc. There is an amazing collection of Craig material in their archives. Also terrific if you're trying to trace those early Craigs who received land patents in VA, WV, KY for services in the colonial military. Here's the URL.
