This information is taken from December 1, 1966 Wilson County Citizen~ "Commonly known as the Trimmel cemetery the land for the byrying ground was donated by Warren Greathouse and W. P. (Windsor) Craig when Indians, migrating through the country had a child of the band die" ...... "Among the signers of the original petition for the formation of the county (Wilson) buried in the cememtery are several Craigs, Warren Greathouse, members of the Shannon family and very possibly others whose stones are missing or broken" "The petition to organize Wilson County was granted by Gov Carney in September, 1864 and the area included what is now Montgomery county and probably about two miles of what now is Woodson county.
