My descendency line: John Craig, Sr. from So. Car. arrived with several children to Livingston Co.(now Trigg Co.) Ky in 1799. wife ? John Craig, Jr. b. c. 1790 in So. Car. m. Unity Ellen Hendrick Young. Craigs and 6 children lived in Trigg co., Ky until 1842, moved to Calloway Co., Ky., then by 1860 Cencus in McCracken Co., Ky. Daniel Young Craig b. c. 1821-1823, Trigg Co., Ky. m. Elizabeth "Betty" Brunk, b. 1828 Ky., 4 children. 1860 Cencus in Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky. livery stable owner and lawyer. John Edwin Craig (doctor) b. 1869, d. 1949. Paducah, Ky. m. Mable Nannie Whitis, b. 10/7/1880, d. 7/22/1962 Paducah, Ky. 4 children. He was a country doctor and later owned a drugstore in Lone Oak, Ky., near Paducah. Lillard Edwin Craig, b. 7/28/1899 McCracken Co., Ky. d. 8/23/1975 Van Nuys, Ca. m. Irene Mae Winston 1/10/1920, Weakley Co., Tn. lived many years in Jackson, Tn. 4 children Helen Irene Craig b. 12/4/36 Jackson, Tn. I would like to know anything about the early Craigs. John Craig, Jr. and wife Unity Ellen Hendrick Young had 6 children: Daniel Young Craig, Lovic Young Craig, Isabella, Mildred Hendrick Craig, John Young Craig, and Unity Ann Craig. I have some info on these and other Craigs. Lovic Young Craig was a lawyer in Paducah, Ky. He was married twice and had 5 children. First wife was Nancy Ann Meeke, and their son was Henry Craig. Second wife was Ruth Ann Thornton, and they had 4 children: John Daniel Craig, Guyot Willard Craig, Stewart Gardner Craig, and Dow Husband Craig. I have other info and am willing to share info.
